TALLAHASSEE, Fla.---The University of New Mexico women's soccer team fell to No. 11 Florida State, 1-0, on Friday night at the Seminole Soccer Complex in Tallahassee, Fla. The Lobos dropped to 1-1-1 on the season.

The Seminoles gained an early lead as Kassey Kallman headed a ball off a thrown in past Lobo keeper Kelli Cornell in the ninth minute. The goal would prove to be the game winner, as neither team was able to find the back of the net in the remaining 80 minutes of action.

Both squads tallied 9 shots and three shots on goal throughout the game. Jennifer Williams, Jael Fanning and Natalie Jenks all had scoring attempts for the Lobos that were saved by the Florida State goalkeeper.

The Lobos return to action Sunday afternoon at Alabama. The match is slated to begin at 11 a.m. A link to Gametracker can be found at GoLobos.com and live streaming of the game will be available through TideTV at RollTide.com.
