ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The University of New Mexico women's basketball team recently announced its 2011 Summer Camps schedule. The Elite Camp will run from June 20-22, followed by the Individual Camp that will run from June 27-29.
Each camp features personal instruction from members of the Lobo women's basketball team and coaching staff, and each participant will receive a 2011 camp T-shirt. Full-time certified athletics trainers will be on site for each camp. There will be a maximum number of 80 players that will be allowed to participate in the Individual Camp.
This will be Yvonne Sanchez's first year running the camps as head coach for the UNM women's basketball program. She brings in a wealth of knowledge after completing her 11th season on the coaching staff for the Lobos, and third season as associate head coach.
Elite Camp - June 20-22 at Rudy Davalos Center (next to The Pit)
- Early registration = $150 commuter, $250 overnight
- After June 1 = $170 commuter; $270 overnight
- Session Times: TBA
- Girls 9th-12th grade; wanting to learn advanced skills
Individual Camp - June 27-29 at Rudy Davalos Center (next to The Pit)
- Early registration = $150
- After June 1 = $170
- Session Times - 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
- Girls ages 9-17; intermediate skill level
