The University of New Mexico men's golf team return to the links on April 16-17 for their last regular season tournament of the season. The Lobos will join 13 other teams at the Aggie Invitational in Bryan, Texas. The tournament will consist of 36-holes on Saturday and 18-holes on Sunday. Live scoring for the tournament will be available at www.golfstat.com.
OPENING DRIVE: The University of New Mexico men's golf team will travel to the Aggie Invitational this weekend in Bryan, Texas. The two day tournament will take place on April 16-17, with 36-holes played on the 16th and 18-holes on the 17th.
THE COURSE: The Aggie Invitational will be played at the brand new par-72, 7,235 yard Nicklaus designed Traditions Golf Club.

THE FIELD: The field for the Aggie Invitational has six of the 14 teams ranked in the top-30 of the Golfweek Sagarin Performance Index, including UNM. Teams participating in the tournament followed by their rankings in parentheses are: Texas A&M, Texas A&M JV, Texas (17), Baylor, SMU (29), Texas Tech (30), Oklahoma, Oklahoma State (1), Michigan State (21), Kent State, Northwestern, Notre Dame and Ohio State.
NEW MEXICO IN THE POLLS: The Lobos are ranked fifth in the latest Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index. UNM was ranked first in the index after opening the season with a victory at the Topy Cup. New Mexico trails only Oklahoma State, Georgia, Georgia Tech and UNLV.
Individually the Lobos have two players ranked in the top 100. Junior Spencer Levin is the second ranked golfer with a 68.03 scoring index. Levin has won twice and finished second in five tournaments this season. Sophomore Charlie Beljan is 83rd with a 71.54 index rating.
