Head Coach Ritchie McKay:
"I think we waited too long tonight. We gave up so many easy baskets early. They had uncontested 3's and easy lay-ups all game. We did finally start to make a run in the second half, but they had 15 field goal attempts in the second half, and they made 10 of them. We gave up 82 points, and we haven't given up 82 points all year. It was a lousy defensive effort, and we have to get better, especially if we're going to win on the road. You have to give credit to Wyoming. They wanted to drive the ball as much as they could against us, and they did it.
"Justin (Benson) came off the bench for David (Chiotti) and did a nice job. I thought Justin played good tonight. Danny's (Granger) numbers looked great tonight with 30 points and 14 rebounds, and he's arguably the best player in the league. But we were so bad defensively. All we were doing was trading baskets, and that's not the way we're going to win. We've got to defend. In order to win the league, you've got to do tough things, and tough things start at the defensive end."
