Denver, Colo.--- Another weekend in a row, the University of New Mexico Lobos made significant strides in competitive play. The team traveled to Denver, Colo. to compete in a three day round robin even at the University of Denver.

The highlight of the invitational for the Lobos was the doubles championship win by duo Conor Berg and Ben Dunbar. They defeated teams on both Friday and Sunday to snag the win and claim the top spot.

At the DU Invitiational on Friday, several Lobos defeated players from the University of Minnesota in their first matches of round robin play. Six singles players and two doubles teams had strong victories over competitors, while only two Lobo singles players and one doubles team fell to teams from Minnesota and the University of Denver.

The second day of competition was not as successful as the first. Saturday morning the Lobos had five more singles wins against DU, which unfortunately did not follow the team into the afternoon segment. The Lobos faced more strong players from Minnesota in the afternoon, finding only two wins by Carl Ho and Matthew Neeld.

On the last day of the invitational four more Lobos posted wins for the team against a mixed set of players from Minnesota and DU. Alongside the doubles championship duo of Berg and Dunbar, two more doubles teams claimed wins against teams from Minnesota.
