ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. --- New Mexico softball will have four games broadcast live on national and regional television this season as announced today by the league office. CBS College Sports Network, formerly known as CSTV, will air the April 3 doubleheader at BYU and the Mountain Network is scheduled to broadcast the May 8 doubleheader against Utah at Lobo Field. The four UNM games are part of an 11 game schedule that includes six games on The Mountain Network, two games on CBS College Sports Network and three on BYU-TV.

The announcement means that UNM softball will be aired nationally and regionally for the second straight year. The Lobos played two games last year on the Mountain Network and two on BYU-TV.

The Mtn., will not only broadcast live softball games, but will air pre-game and post-game shows for those contests. The Mtn., will also feature softball coverage on its shows, The Mountain View and The Mountain Cap, which break down MWC games, look ahead to the big match ups on the horizon and feature extensive game highlights.
