  • New Mexico improves to 24-4 overall (11-2 MWC, 1st place by 2 full games) after a 70-60 victory against San Diego State (20-8, 8-6 MW)
  • Alex Kirk (25 and 7) and Cameron Bairstow (16 and 5) combined for a season-high 41 points - and 12 rebounds tonight on 13-22 FGs, 3-3 3s by Kirk and 12-14 FTs...in the 55-34 loss at San Diego on Jan. 26, Kirk (2 and 6) and Bairstow (0 and 3) combined for 2 points (1-12 FGs) and 9 rebounds
  • New Mexico was 4-13 from 3-point, 3-3 by 7-0 sophomore center Alex Kirk and 1-10 by four other players...the 3 3s is a career high for Kirk
