LITTLE LOBOS CAMP (June 20-22, 2005)

Ages: Kindergarten through 5th grade

Time: 9 a.m. - Noon

Join New Mexico volleyball players and staff for three mornings of volleyball! Included in your registration fees are three great mornings of instruction, fun supervision, and a Lobo volleyball shirt. This is a cool camp for kids!

Hey all you Lobo adults! Are you interested in learning a bit more about the game of volleyball? Maybe you would like to refine the skills that you have already acquired? Join us for three evenings of skills instruction and competition. Players of ALL skill level are invited to attend. Included in your fees will be instruction, competition, fun and a Lobo Volleyball t-shirt! The adult skills camp will be held from 6-8:30 p.m. on each of the three nights. All volleyball enthusiasts, men and women, ages 18 and up are invited to attend!

This camp is offered to girls entering 6th - 12th grade in the fall. Players will receive small group instruction and will have opportunities to utilize their skills in competitive settings. Players of ANY level are invited to attend. Come brush up on your skills before your school season starts! For your fees, you will receive: a fun and knowledgeable group of coaches, nine total on-court sessions, your own Molten Volleyball, a Lobo Volleyball t-shirt, meals, 24-hour supervision, and a full-time trainer.


Resident Campers check in on July 15 and will stay in the dorms for the duration of the camp. Commuter Campers will check in before the morning session and will then be checked out following the night session each day.

INDIVIDUAL SKILLS: To reserve your spot, please fill out the Individual Application and Medical Release Form. Return this with either a full registration fee or a $50 non-refundable deposit to hold your spot. Your non-refundable deposit will secure your place in camp until June 1, when the balance is due. If applying after June 1, full payment is due upon registration.

LITTLE LOBOS AND ADULT SKILLS: Please fill out application and medical release form. Return these forms with either a $25 deposit or the full amount. The $25 deposit is non-refundable and will reserve you a spot until June 6, when the full balance of $75 is due. If registering after June 6, full payment is due upon registration.

Please Note: The Adult Skills Camp must reach a minimum of 20 participants. If 20 participants are not registered by June 6, the campers will be cancelled and fees will be refunded in their entirety.


All sessions will be held in the University of New Mexico's Johnson Center in the South Gym. Parking is available in the parking structure of Johnson Center, for an hourly fee.

Resident campers for the Individual Skills Camp will receive a parking pass to park in Lot D for the weekend. Commuter campers may purchase parking permits for $4 per day (Friday-Monday) or may park in any of the paid parking structures. UNM parking services will be ticketing on Friday, July 15 through Monday, July 18, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.


Resident campers for the Individual Skills Camp will stay in Hokona Hall. Santa Clara is conveniently located near the dining hall and the gym. The girls will stay two to a room; roommate request will be accommodated if necessary. Camp staff will provide 24-hour supervision in the dorms. All resident campers for the Individual Skills Camp will eat breakfast, lunch and dinner at the dining hall. Commuter campers for the Individual Skills Camp will eat lunch and dinner at the dining hall.


All participants must have their own medical insurance through their family policy or some other source that will serve as their primary coverage. Registrations will not be accepted if the medical release form is not signed and filled out in its entirety. Each camper, coach, or chaperone must either complete the medical form. Full-time certified trainers will be on-site to treat any and all injuries. Specific medical needs can be discussed with the trainer upon check-in on July 15.
