David Lepre Jr.
Position: Asst. Producer - LoboTV
Experience: 6 Years

Now in his sixth year at the University of New Mexico, Dave Lepre is in his fifth at LoboTV. Lepre joined the department's staff as an assistant for media relations in July of 2008 and has also served as the department's media contact for men's golf, tennis and an assistant media contact for football.

With LoboTV since its inception, he's responsible for the production of hundreds of highlight videos, press conferences and video features during his tenure, as well as video board graphic content for UNM's stadiums and arenas.

Along with current LoboTV producer Frank Yost, Lepre ushered in the live video production era at New Mexico Athletics, streaming multi-camera Lobo soccer, football, volleyball, basketball, track & field, tennis, baseball and softball events during the 2013-14 seasons.

He also manages and edits numerous social media sites for the Lobos, including UNM Athletics' Facebook, Twitter and Instagram page as well as LoboTV's YouTube, Facebook and Twitter sites.

Lepre came to the Lobos with over over 12 years of professional sports journalism experience, having worked for The Albuquerque Journal, The Associated Press and Si.com, among other publications. He's done freelance videography for a number of networks and still shoots content for distribution to UNM's local network affiliates.

Prior to joining the Lobos' staff, Lepre also spent five years coaching prep football and teaching digital audio/video editing and electronic publishing as the coordinator of an Intel-sponsored student technology program.
