Brittany Emerson

Player Profile

Undergraduate Assistant

2nd year

Brittany Emerson enters her second season with the Lobos as an undergraduate assistant. Emerson is a former UNM women's soccer player who worked as a midfielder for the Lobos from 2003-04. In 2004, Emerson battled through numerous injuries to both knees, but was still a driving force on the team.

The Mountain West Conference recognized her talent on the field by naming her to the all-conference second team. With injuries too severe to continue her collegiate career, Emerson took on the role of assisting the Lobo women's soccer staff with various community relations duties. This season, she will help with clinics, fundraising events and other community service tasks.

A senior at UNM, Emerson is studying health education. She was one of the players in 2004 that helped boost the Lobos' GPA to an outstanding 3.5 for the fall semester as she was named academic all-MWC and a MWC Scholar Athlete.
