JUNIOR (2012): One of only two Lobos to start all 61 games ... earned Co-Mountain West Player of the Year honors ... was named one of three national finalists for the Johnny Bench Award, given to the best collegiate catcher in the country ... named Louisville Slugger Second Team All-American ... led UNM in runs (68), doubles (27), and at bats (268) ... ranked second on the team in batting (.377), hits (101), home runs (10), RBIs (57), slugging (.612), on base percentage (.438), and total bases (164) ... also chipped in three triples and six steals ... set career-highs in every single one of those categories ... threw out 39.6% of all base stealers behind the plate ... his 268 at bats are the second-most a Lobo has ever had in one season ... led the team with 35 multi-hit games ... batted leadoff in 33 games and the Lobos went 24-9 in those games ... recorded season-high 15-game hitting streak from Apr. 9 through Apr. 29 ... hit .492 (32-65) with 22 runs, 18 RBIs, seven doubles, a triple, and two home runs during the streak ... recorded at least two hits in 10 of 11 games during the streak (Apr. 14-29) ... hit a walk-off, two-run home run against New Mexico St. on May 15 ... recorded season-high five hits and three doubles against Air Force on May 17 ... recorded season-high four RBIs against UNLV on May 12 and Air Force on May 17 ... had 15 putouts on Mar. 31 against Fresno St. and May 15 against New Mexico St. ... earned MW Player of the Week honors on Mar. 26, again on Apr. 16, and for a third time on Apr. 30 ... named College Baseball 360 Primetime Performer on Mar. 27.

SOPHOMORE (2011): Started all 61 games for the Lobos ... led the team with a .380 on-base percentage, was second with 13 doubles, third with 69 hits, and fourth with 27 RBI ... hit .300 and had 21 multi-hit games, including eight in a 10-game stretch from Feb. 22 through Mar. 6 ... named Mountain West Conference Player of the Week for week of Feb. 21-27 ... hit 9-20 (.450) that week with five extra-base hits, eight RBI and three runs scored ... struck out only 27 times in 268 plate appearances ... batting average dropped below .300 for only five games all season.

FRESHMAN (2010): Served as the backup catcher to All-American Rafael Neda ... batted .277 with 15 RBIs and 14 runs scored in 30 games (11 starts) ... best performance came against Coppin State on April 18, where he went 4-for-6 with three runs scored and an RBI.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in soccer and baseball ... played baseball for head coach Stan McKeever ... won state championships in soccer and baseball in 2008 ... named first team all-state, first team all-district and first team all-metro from 2008-09 ... earned honorable mention All-American honors in 2009 ... La Cueva High School and Albuquerque Public Schools Male Athlete of the Year in 2009.
