Senior (2009):Drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 20th round of the 2009 MLB Amateur Draft...named to the All-MWC First Team as a starting pitcher as well as to the Academic All-MWC team...named to the ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District VI second team...emerged as the Lobos' top starter, compiling a 6-4 record with a 3.45 ERA in 15 games started...ERA finished at 89th best nationally...supplied 12 quality starts (three unearned runs or less)...led the team in strikeouts (70), innings pitched (88.2), wins (6) and games started (15) while ranking fourth in the MWC in innings pitched, fifth in strikeouts and tied for fifth in wins...allowed just three earned runs in 25.2 innings over four starts to open the season...tossed a career-high eight innings on March 6 over Binghamton allowing five hits with five strikeouts...recorded a career-best nine strikeouts in seven innings against BYU on March 26 for his fourth win of the season...matched No.1 overall draft pick Stephen Strasburg of San Diego State on two occasions: seven innings with one run on April 17 and 6.1 innings with one run on May 20 at the MWC Tournament...allowed just one earned run in seven different starts.

Junior (2008): Named to the Academic All-Mountain West Conference team...developed into a mid-week starter for the Lobos' non-conference games after starting the season in the bullpen...appeared in 21 games, starting six...recorded 36 strikeouts in 49 innings pitched...posted a 2-5 record with a 5.69 ERA...career-high seven strikeouts in 5.1 innings vs. New Mexico State on March 25...followed with a six-strikeout game in seven innings on March 30 vs. Vermont...appeared in four games, five innings of relief, before allowing a run...pitched 0.2 innings to close out UNM's win over Utah in the first game of the MWC Tournament.

Vernon College (2006 & 2007): Named Freshman of the Year...went 5-7 in 2007 with a 3.60 ERA...also excelled at the plate with a .300 batting average and 36 RBI...posted a 4-1 record in 2006 coupled with an ERA of 1.77...recorded 59 strikeouts in 61 innings pitched...batted .329 with 28 RBI and seven home runs.

High School:First team All-Star PBL...hit .446 as a senior ...drafted by the Colorado Rockies in 2005 and the Toronto Blue Jays in 2004.
