JUNIOR (2012): Tied for the team lead with 22 appearances, all in relief, and led the team with five saves ... posted a 1-1 record with a 4.73 ERA while striking out 39 in only 32.1 innings ... allowed one earned run or less in 18 of his 22 appearances ... earned his only win of the season with 1.2 shutout innings against Air Force on May 19 as the Lobos clinched their first regular-season championship since 2000 ... was named to the Mountain West Tournament team for his work in UNM's 5-2 victory over TCU on May 25 ... he pitched 2.1 innings to earn his fifth save of the season and struck out six, including the last three of the game, to send UNM to the championship game ... appeared in two games in the NCAA regionals in Los Angeles, throwing 3.2 innings, striking out five, and allowing two runs on two hits.

SOPHOMORE (2011): Had a 4-4 record and 4.97 ERA in 18 games, including five starts ... his four wins tied for the team lead ... pitched 67 innings total, 39.2 of which were in relief ... picked up first win of the season Mar. 6 against UTSA by striking out six in seven shutout innings ... the six strikeouts tied a season-high, which he accomplished four times throughout the season ... named to the MWC All-Tournament Team as a relief pitcher with a win and a save during the tournament ... threw six shutout innings in two appearances (both against ninth-ranked TCU) in the tournament ... struck out five while only allowing five baserunners (and only two hits) in those two games ... picked up the win out of the bullpen by shutting down TCU in four shutout innings in his first MWC Tournament appearance ... recorded his only save of the season by throwing two shutout innings in the Lobos' 4-2 win in the championship game.

FRESHMAN (2010): Made 12 appearances as a starter/reliever in his freshman season ... compiled a record of 3-1 to go along with an ERA of 4.46 ... Set a career high in strikeouts with six in a 5-4 victory over SDSU on March 28.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for head coach Chris Forbes ... winning pitcher of the Texas State Championship game in 2009 ... named first team all-state, first team all-district and first team all-city from 2008-09 ... named All-City and All-District Most Valuable Player as a senior ... teammate of Gabe Aguilar.
