Defending Mountain West Conference indoor and outdoor high jump champion who also was an NCAA regional and provisional qualifier in the event last year...became just the 2nd UNM woman to sweep conference titles indoors and outdoors in the same season (Aura Cook, 1993)...3-time all-MWC honoree...a very consistent jumper who will continue to challenge the school records in the event...has 2 years of eligibility remaining indoors and a redshirt season available outdoors...also a 3-time Academic all-MWC honoree.

2007: (outdoor) Captured the high jump at the MWC Championships in San Diego with a leap of 5-08.75...opened at 5-05.00 and cleared her first three heights on the first attempt to knock off defending champion Mindy Neely of BYU...went on to finish tied for 13th in her first NCAA Midwest Regional Championship meet (5-07.25)...led the MWC (T12th regionally) with an outdoor best jump of 5-10.00 at UC-San Diego on April 21...3 victories on the year, winning section B high jump at the Texas Relays and the Don Kirby Invite in Albuquerque...cleared 5-08.75 or better and finished among the top-5 in all 7 meets leading up to the Midwest Regional Championships...Academic All-MWC...(indoor) Opened the final day of the MWC Championships in Albuquerque by winning the high jump with a career-best and NCAA provisional qualifying mark of 5-10.00 (1st MWC, T-31st nationally)...snapped a 3-year drought for the Lobo women as she became the 2nd Lobo to win the event indoors (Aura Cook, 1993)...cleared the first 2 heights without a miss and sailed over the 5-10.00 bar on her 2nd attempt...defending indoor champion Rheannon Backes of Colorado State (4th) was among those she defeated...appeared to to clear 5-10.00 earlier in the year at the Dennis Heimrich Invite, only to have to bar somehow fall 10 seconds later as she sat up on the mat...still won the event that night with a leap of 5-08.75...3 wins in her 5 high jump competitions and also ran the 60m hurdles 4 times...5th in the hurdles finals at the Heimrich Invite and clocked a season-best of 9.22 (altitude adjusted) in the event.

2006: (outdoor) Led the team (T5th MWC) once again, clearing 5-07.00 4 times during the spring...tied for 6th at the MWC Championships (5-04.50)...runner-up efforts at USC and at home in the Don Kirby Invite...appeared in 6 meets...Academic All-MWC honoree...(indoor) Tied teammate Khristina Curtis for 2nd at the MWC Championship meet with a jump of 5-07.75...the duo became the first UNM women to earn indoor all-MWC honors in the event...led the team with a mark of 5-08.00 (2nd MWC) at the New Mexico Invite (3rd)...4 top-3 finishes in 6 meets.

2005: (outdoor)Led the Lobos in the high jump with a top mark of 5-07.00 (T6th MWC)...competed 6 times and notched 5 top-5 finishes...high jump winner at the home Don Kirby Invite...runner-up at the Mesa Classic...T11th at the MWC Championships...Academic All-MWC and MWC Scholar-Athlete Award winner...(indoor) Redshirt season.


A 2004 graduate of Mt. Olive High School in Flanders, N.J...2-time Northern Hills Conference high jump champion at West Orange (N.J.) High School before moving with her family to Flanders as senior...competed at Mt. Olive under head coach David Sulley, earning indoor All-America honors and capturing the New Jersey state high jump title in `04...also won the high jump at the N.J. Meet of Champions, captured the Iron Hills Conference crown and was team captain as a senior...set school records at both Mt. Olive and West Orange with jumps of 5-08.00 as a senior and sophomore, respectively...also recorded a PR of 14.8 in the 100m hurdles...went undefeated in `04 and was named Morris county's Female Athlete of the Year...a three-time winner at the Essex County Championships while at West Orange...led WOHS to a county championship by winning the HJ and placing third in both the long jump and 100m hurdles...member of the honor roll all 4 years...also lettered in volleyball and cheerleading...
