2007: (outdoor) Led the team (21st MWC) in the 800 with a season-best time of 2:13.50 (altitude adjusted) in a 2nd place finish at the Don Kirby Invite in Albuquerque (April 28)...ran 12th in the prelims at the MWC Championships (2:14.88)...won the event at Arizona (2:16.48)...career-best time of 58.52 in her lone 400 race at UTEP...helped the Lobo 4x400 team place 5th at the MWC meet...14 races on the season...Academic All-MWC and MWC Scholar-Athlete award winner...(indoor) Ran the 800 exclusively for the first time in her career, pacing the team (20th MWC) with a time of 2:16.92 (altitude adjusted)...14th in the event at the MWC Championships (2:17.09)...2 top-3 finishes in her 5 800m races...also ran the 4x400 relay 4 times, helping the Lobos set a school record for the 2nd straight year with a time of 3:47.66 at the MWC meet (6th)...

A 2005 graduate of Rio Rancho (N.M.) High School...2004 class 5A state champion in the long jump and 400 meters for head coach Tim Flores...2005 district champion in the LJ, 200 and 400...member of the Rams' gold medal-winning 1,600-meter relay team and a state finalist in the LJ (3rd), 200 (3rd) and 400 (4th) as a senior...helped the Rams win district titles in 2002 and '05...set school records in the 400 (57.6), long jump (17-11.00) and 4x400m relay...PR of 25.58 in the 200...2005 RRHS Female Athlete of the Year and Metro Female Athlete of the Year scholarship winner...5-time Academic All-District award winner and lettered 10 times in T&F, basketball, cross country and volleyball...
