An indoor all-MWC 800-meter runner last year who will look to return to competition this spring...is one of the best 800 runners in UNM history when healthy, but injuries and illness have hampered her significantly over the past year...underwent knee surgery during the summer, forcing her to miss her second straight cross country season...redshirted the 2006 outdoor track season and will redshit indoors in `07...top times of 2:10.36 (outdoor) and 2:14.02 (indoor) are the best by a Lobo in seventh-year head coach Matt Henry's tenure...

2006: (cross country) Did not compete while recovering from knee surgery...

2005-06: (outdoor) Redshirt season...(indoor) Became the first UNM woman to earned all-MWC honors in the 800m with a third place finish (season best 2:14.18) at the MWC Championships...was seeded 13th entering the weekend and ran sixth in the prelims...finished 0.84 seconds behind the MWC Champion...also helped the UNM distance medley relay team earn all-conference honors and clock a school record time of 11:56.70 (3rd place)...competed in 6 individual races (5 800m, 1 400m)...(cross country) Took a redshirt season after a series of illnesses kept her out of action much of the year...trained with the team throughout the season, but was never healthy enough to compete...

2004-05: (outdoor) Made excellent progress in her second year...bettered her old PR in four meets, running a team-best 2:10.36 in the Olympic Development 800 race at the Mt. SAC Relays...runner-up at home in the Don Kirby Invite...finished fifth at the MWC Championships with a time of 2:11.57...also helped the 4x400 relay team record its fastest time of the year at home...(indoor) Finished sixth at the MWC Championships with a time of 2:16.48...recorded a PR of 2:14.02 in an impressive third place finish at Northern Arizona...placed fifth in the season-opener at Air Force...also ran a leg of the distance medley relay at the conference meet...(cross country) Was one of the top runners on the team, scoring in five of six meets...notched a pair of top-20 finishes and clocked a career-best 6K time of 23:13.4 at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships...

2003-04: (outdoor) Was the team's top-ranked 800m runner, clocking a season-best time of 2:13.39 to finish second at home at the Don Kirby Invite...competed in 7 races...(indoor) Outstanding track debut, leading the team and finishing sixth in the MWC in the 800...recorded her top time of 2:15.65 en route to her first collegiate victory at NAU...ran six 800 races and clocked the team's third-fastest time (5:10.45) in her only mile run...(cross country) Scored in all six meets and led the team in her debut race at the Lobo Invitational...finished 15th at the pre-MWC Championships and 10th at the Canyon West Classic...top 6K time of 23:51 at the Pre-MWC meet...Academic all-MWC honoree.


Two-time 5A state champion on the track and an all-state cross country runner at Albuquerque Cibola High School, under head coaches Doug Dorame and Tara Warrior...swept city, district and state titles in the 800m as a senior and 1,600 as a junior...anchored the winning 4x400m relay team to help the Cougars secure their first state track championship...left Cibola with school records in the 400, 800, 1,600 and as a member of the 4x400 relay team...finished fifth at the state cross country meet as a senior after placing 11th the year before...named CHS Scholar Athlete.
