Veteran quarter-miler who has earned 5 all-MWC medals as part of the UNM 4x400m relay team...helped lead the Lobo men to the MWC Indoor title in the event last year - their first relay crown in 20 years...a tough, smart runner who has helped the Lobo 4x4 team emerge as one of the best league's best over the past three years...son of former UNM head coach Matt Henry and was coached in high school by his older brother Kenny (28), who ran at LSU for uncle Pat Henry - now the head coach at Texas A&M...younger brother, Kyle (19), is a sophomore hurdler for the Lobos...has redshirt seasons available indoors and outdoors...

2007: (outdoor) Member of the MWC's No. 2 4x400 relay team, helping the Lobos grab the silver medal at the MWC Championships...the 4x4 team notched 5 top-3 finishes, winning at UC-San Diego and at home in Albuquerque, and finishing 2nd at Arizona with a season-best time of 3:10.72 - less than a second off the NCAA regional qualifying time...also helped UNM finish 5th at the MWC meet in a rare 4x100 relay performance...9 individual races on the season, primarily in the 400...clocked career-best times of 49.21 in Albuquerque and again in the MWC prelims (9th)...advanced to the conference finals for the first time as an individual, placing 9th (50.85)...(indoor) Ran just 3 individual races (all 800m), but was a key member of the Lobos' all-New Mexico MWC champion 4x400m relay team (5 races)...his performance on the 3rd leg helped UNM go 3-0 in February, including 2 wire-to-wire victories, and become the school's first 4x4 team in 20 years to win a conference title...was virtually impassable on his home track, including the MWC meet where he withstood a fierce collision in the physical exchange zone to give teammate Jarrin Solomon a critical lead on the final hand-off...UNM's time of 3:13.79 was tops in the MWC...also ran on the DMR team 3 times, helping the unit finish 5th at the MWC meet...

2006: (outdoor) Competed in 6 individual events and ran the 4x400m relay in 6 meets...helped the relay team earn all-MWC honors with a third place finish at the conference meet, clocking a season-best 3:11.89...it was one of four top-3 finishes for the squad on the season...ranked third on the team with a top 800m time of 1:57.50 at UC-San Diego (5th)...season-best 400m time of 49.44 at home in the Don Kirby Invite...(indoor) Competed in just two individual events, but ran 6 relay races - 4 with the 4x400m team and 2 with the DMR team...helped the UNM 4x400 squad finish third at the MWC Championships to earn all-conference honors for the first time since 2003...

2005: (outdoor) Appeared in 6 meets...clocked the team's fifth-fastest 800 (1:58.76) and had a season best 400 time of 50.03 at home in the Don Kirby Invite...ran the third leg on the Lobos' 4x400 relay team...helped the squad win at the Mesa Classic and finish second at the MWC Championships to earn all-conference honors...(indoor) Competed in three meets...fourth in the open 400 race at Northern Arizona with a season-best time of 50.68...ran the third leg of the mile relay...


A 2004 graduate of Albuquerque Cibola High School...four-year letterwinner in track & field, under his older brother, head coach Kenny Henry...broke four school records during his senior year in the 400, 800 and as part of the 4x100 and 4x400m relay teams...state finalist in all four events...qualified for the state meet in three individual events and three relays as a senior...also a three-year letterman, playing quarterback, wide receiver, kicker and punter for the Cougar football team...
