This Season - Coming off an impressive junior campaign, Mach could be one of the top Alpine skiers in the NCAA this season...Returning All-American and the No. 1 ranked slalom skier in the RMISA last season...Should challenge for one of the top three spots on the team....Qualified for the NCAA's all three years at UNM but did not compete as a freshman.

Junior (2006) - All-American in the slalom placing seventh at the NCAA Championships...One-third of the Lobos' NCAA slalom team title squad...Also finished 25th in the giant slalom at the NCAAs...Finished the regular season as the top ranked slalom skier in the RMISA, posting wins at the Montana State meet in Bozeman, Mont., and the Colorado meet in Steamboat Springs, Colo...Had five top-10 finishes...Ranked 14th in the RMISA giant slalom...Best giant slalom result was ninth at the Alaska-Anchorage meet in Park City, Utah...Alpine men's team tri-MVP.

Sophomore (2005) - Posted six top-10s, including a career-high second place showing in the giant slalom at New Mexico...Four of his top-10s were in the giant slalom...Best slalom finish was seventh at the NCAA West Regional...Placed 24th in the slalom and 27th in the giant slalom at the NCAA Championships...Ranked 18th in the slalom and seventh in the giant slalom in the RMISA during the regular season, earning All-RMISA honors.

Freshman (2004) - Ranked eighth in the slalom, earning second team All-RMISA recognition...Also ranked 20th in the giant slalom in the RMISA...Best slalom finish was fifth at Nevada...Scored three top-10s in the slalom during the regular season...Top giant slalom finish was 14th at New Mexico and the NCAA West Regional.

Prior to UNM - Mach graduated from Nepean High School in Ottawa, Ontario, in 2000...He won 10 times on the F.I.S. circuit in each Alpine event...He also competed at the NorAm level where he scored top-15 finishes in the Downhill and Super-G.

Personal - Mach was born July 1, 1982 in Fredericton, New Brunswick (Canada) but now lives in Ottawa, Ontario...He is the son of Ales and Lenk Mach...Mach was an avid soccer and tennis player before deciding to concentrate on Alpine skiing...He is majoring in Political Science.
