The Lobos hosted in-state rival New Mexico State in their annual Rio Grande Rivalry/Think Pink match.
JUNIOR (2012): Played in all 33 matches and made 29 starts her junior season, playing mostly as a middle blocker but also as an outside hitter and serving as the libero once (at Air Force on Nov. 1)...led the team and was seventh in the Mountain West in ace serves, recording 30 on the season...was fourth on the team in kills with 179...was second on the team in total blocks with 99...had a career-high four ace serves in the Lobos 3-0 win over Portland on Sept. 8...had 23 digs in UNM's 3-2 win at Air Force on Nov. 1...hit a career-best .476 (13-3-21) in the Lobos' 3-1 win over Wyoming...fall 2012 MW Academic All-Conference Award...2012-13 MW Scholar-Athlete...also threw javelin for UNM Track & Field for the 2012 season, recording a 142-5 to win the Don Kirby Tailwind Invitational.
SOPHOMORE (2011): Played in all 29 of the Lobos' matches and in 94 sets total...recorded 102 kills and six blocks...had a career match at home against San Diego State on Oct. 9 recording nine kills and 10.5 points.
FRESHMAN (2010): Contributed as a reserve middle blocker in her freshman campaign...made some significant contributions in the middle portion of the season with her strongest match coming in a 3-1 win over Sacramento State on Sept. 10 where she played in all four sets, recording two kills and had a blocked shot ... Named to 2010 Academic All-Mountain West Conference Team.
HIGH SCHOOL: 2010 graduate of Lakeridge HS in Lake Oswego, Ore.,...Three Rivers League Player of the Year...team captain as a senior...two time First Team All-League player...recipient of multiple Athlete of the Week Honors by The Oswego Review...winner of Multnomah Athletic Club Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award as a sophomore...three-sport athlete - volleyball, basketball and track & field...played club Volleyball with the Athena Volleyball Club...was the 2009 Oregon state javelin champion...holds high school records in javelin and high jump.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Burl and Valarie Ross...has a sister, Katie, who played tennis at Southern Oregon and is now a coach/tennis pro in Redding, Calif...threw javelin for UNM Track & Field for the 2011 and 2013 outdoor seasons...plans to major in art studio.
