FRESHMAN (2008-09): Named to the Academic All-Mountain West Conference team...compiled a 12-10 spring singles record...started out the season 11-2, but finished 1-8...switched primarily to the No. 5 position after March 20...went 7-3 at the No. 6 slot...went 7-8 in fall singles play for an overall record of 21-18...participated in the Balloon Fiesta Invite and UNLV Invitational in the fall of 2008...sow action in three doubles matches, going 1-2...had two five-match win streaks (Feb.1-March 6 and March 13-March 27).

High School: a 2008 graduate of Citadel High School in Halifax, Nova Scotia... three time national winner in Canadian doubles in 2005 and 2006... made Canadian doubles finals in summer 2008... played in semifinals of 2007 Canadian indoor and outdoor under 18 nationals... won 2006 outdoor Canadian under 16 champion.

Personal: Born April 20, 1990 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada to David and Michelle Anderson... played defensive end in high school, collecting first team all star honors in the Nova Scotia high school football league... also played basketball.... both teams made it to finals in 2008, finishing second...has two siblings, sister Deanne, 16, and brother, Emmett, 14... spent summer of 2008 coaching tennis to kids...undecided on major.
