Head Coach Alan Dils on Phillips:

"He is a great guy. He is one of two seniors on the team. He has taken the leadership role which I think is great. I'm expecting him to have a great senior season. After having a little bit of a lackadaisical junior season, I'm looking for him to rebound and play the kind of tennis day in and day out that I think he is capable of. If he does that, he has a great chance to get to the NCAA tournaments individually and in doubles. He really carries this team on his back with a lot of big wins in the lineup."
