Luc Cisna begins his first season as an assistant coach with the Lobos. A 1999 graduate of Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colo., Cisna was a four-year standout for the Skyhawks. A two-time All-American and two-time academic All-American, Cisna guided the Skyhawks to four conference championships and the NCAA Division II national title game in 1999. He was chosen to play in the 2000 Umbro Bowl Selection game featuring the top collegiate players and was the Fort Lewis Male Athlete of the Year in 1999-00. Current UNM head coach Jeremy Fishbein coached Cisna at FLC from 1995-98.

Cisna played professionally for the Des Moines Menace in 2001 and the Colorado Rapids Reserves in 2002. He has coached club soccer in the Denver area since 2002.

"Luc will be a valuable asset to our program in the coming years," Fishbein. "He played at a high level in college and his experience and knowledge of the game will help our guys get better."
