For the second time under Fishbein's tenure, the Lobos' have received the city's Team of the Year award.

Men's Soccer vs. Towson -- Aug. 26, 2011

Men's soccer defeated Towson, 2-0. Giovanni Rollie and Lawrence Robledo each netted a goal in the Lobo victory.


ALS Fundraiser and Alumni All-Star Game

The Lobo men's soccer team hosted the Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS) Fundraiser and Alumni All-Star Game.

2011 - SENIOR SEASON... Started all 22 games... Scored two goals and had four assists for eight points... Logged 1942 minutes in the midfield... Played a large role in corner kick set pieces, taking 43 corners on the year... was named to the MPSF All-Tournament Team... Named third-team All-Far West Region... Named second-team All-MPSF... Invited to the 2012 MLS Superdraft... Drafted fourth in the first supplemental round of the SuperDraft by Toronto.

2010 - JUNIOR SEASON... One of three Lobos to start in all 20 games during the 2010 season. He recorded 20 shots on goal in 45 attempts - the second highest shot count on the squad - at the midfield and forward positions. His 1,615 minutes yielded two goals and three assists for a grand total of seven points on the year.

2009 - SOPHOMORE SEASON...Third team All-Far West Region...First team All-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation...Two-time MPSF Player of the Week, Oct. 5 and Nov. 9...Named to TLC Plumbing Nike Invitational All-Tournament Team...Top Drawer Team of the Week honoree, Oct. 5...College Soccer News Team of the Week honoree, Oct. 6 and Nov. 9...Saw action in all 20 Lobo games, started 17...Recorded 1,533 minutes...Had 40 shots on the season with 20 shots on goal...Averaged 2 shots per game...Was second on the team with 14 points, 5 goals and 4 assists...Scored two goals twice during the season, against Cal State Northridge on Oct. 3 and against UNLV on Nov. 7.

2008 - FRESHMAN SEASON...Played in all 19 games in the Lobo midfield with eight starts on the year...Scored a goal in his third career game at home against Michigan State...Had two goals and three assists on the season while taking 29 shots and 13 shots on goal...Averaged 1.53 shots per game...Totaled 1,100 minutes on the year.
