NEW MEXICO: A valuable contributor to the offense in 2012 ... should continue to be a big part of the running back rotation in 2013 ... as added eight pounds during the 2013 offseason to help his ability to run between the tackles ... must continue to absorb playbook to see playing time among a crowded backfield during the upcoming season ... has a potent combination of speed and power ... has good vision out of the backfield.

2012 (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN): Played in all 13 games, starting the first two games of the season as teammate Kasey Carrier was coming off an ankle injury ... finished third on the team in rushing yards with 462 and in rushing TDs with six ... also had one TD reception in the season finale against Colorado State, a 55-yard catch on a perfect throw by QB B.R. Holbrook ... only carried the ball twice against Nevada on Nov. 17, but one of those carries went for his sixth touchdown of the season ... rushed for 54 yards against Wyoming on Nov. 10 and set a new career-long with a 40 yard run on the first play of the third quarter ... was second on the team with 56 rushing yards against UNLV on Nov. 3 ... carried the ball 12 times against the Rebels and had a long rush of 18 yards ... set a career-best with 78 rushing yards and one touchdown on a career-high 20 carries as the Lobos defeated Texas State 35-14 on Oct. 6 ... his TD came on a 1-yard run with 13:06 remaining in the second quarter and gave UNM a 21-7 lead over the Bobcats ... finished third on the team in rushing vs.. No. 24 Boise State on Sept. 29 as the Lobos rushed for 330 yards ... he totaled 58 yards and one touchdown on 13 carries against the Broncos and caught one pass for three yards ... rushed for 71 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries as the Lobos defeated New Mexico State on Sept. 22 ... started his first career game vs.. Southern on Sept. 1 ... finished the game with 75 yards on 10 carries ... scored the first TD of his career on a 5-yard run with 8:37 left in the first quarter.

HIGH SCHOOL: Rushed for 887 yards on 100 carries with 14 touchdowns in eight games his senior year at Red Lion Christian Academy for coach Eric Day ... also had one kickoff return for a TD ... had 40 tackles with three pass breakups, four tackles for loss and two forced fumbles as a defensive back...netted 825 yards on 93 carries with 10 TDs as a junior.
