Senior Katrina Leckovic captured her first title as a Lobo with her win at the 2003 MWC Championships...was one of three Lobos to have participated in all of UNM’s tournaments last season...hailing from Burnaby, British Columbia, Leckovic transfered to UNM from the University of Hartford in Conn.

AS A JUNIOR (2002-03)...was the top Lobo at the NCAA Central Regional, tying for 24th place...carded a 231 for the Regional...at the conference championships, her tournament score of 216 and second round 67 at the MWCs set new conference marks, as well as personal bests...named to the Mountain West All-Conference team for the second straight year...finished with a season stroke average of 75.2...listed second in conference stroke average at 75.8...ranked No. 65 in the Nation in GolfWeek rankings (Apr. 28), jumping 14 spots from the previous listing...led the Lobo charge at the UCLA Bruin Classic, finishing tied for 9th out of 100 golfers.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2001-02)...was one of four Lobos named to the 2002 MWC All-Conference team...finished with a season stroke average of 76.2...her best performance came at UNM’s Dick McGuire Invitational where she placed tied for sixth place with a three-round score of 220...competed in every tournament for the Lobos...helped UNM to its third consecutive MWC title with her eighth place finish at the conference championships.

AT HARTFORD (2000-01)...won the East Coast Athletic Conference Women’s Golf Championship in a playoff situation in 2000...had three top-five finishes in the fall of 2000, including a fourth place at the Dartmouth Invitational (Sept. 16-17), second place at the Yale Invitational (Sept. 23-24) and her title at the ECACs...made the Dean’s List in 2000 and 2001.

HIGH SCHOOL...lettered in golf, swimming, track and field, and basketball at Burnaby South Secondary...was named the Burnaby South Secondary Athlete of the Year in 1999...swam for six years before taking up golf...has international golf experience playing in the World Junior Golf Cup in Scotland in 1999...placed second in the British Columbia Junior Ladies Championship (‘99) and earned the British Columbia Junior Ladies Championshiop in 2000...placed third in the BC Ladies Amateur and sixth in the Canadian National Junior Championships in 2000.
