AS A SENIOR (2004-05)... finished the season ranked 149th by Golfweek...ninth in the Mountain West with a 76.54 average...tied for 20th at the Dick McGuire Invitational after carding a 5-over 224...shot an 11-over 224 to tie for 48th at the NCAA Fall Preview...tie for 19th at the Landfall Tradition with a 6-over 222...posted a 2-2 record at the Collegiate Match Play Championships...she defeated Laura Caniff of North Carolina, 3 & 2, and Hwanhee Lee of UNLV, 3 & 2...tied for 66th at the Regional Challenge with a 30-over 243...season-best sixth-place finish at the Gamecock Classic, shooting a 235 (+19)...fourth top-20 showing of the season by tying for 16th place at the PING/Arizona State Invitational with a score of 223 (+7)...placed 11th at the Mountain West Championships with a 16-over 229...tied for 77th with a 237 at the NCAA Central Regional.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2002-03)... scored a collegiate career low round of 69 in the second round of the 2003 MWC Championships...scored a collegiate tournament low score of 223 at the MWCs...was named all-conference - a first time honoree...Spence's finished with a season stroke average of 76.1...scored her best collegiate finish - tied for 4th - at the conference championships...ranked No. 4 in MWC season stroke avg. 75.8...one of three Lobos to compete in every tournament...finished the season ranked No. 109...along with teammate Downs was named Dollar Rent-a-Car Academic Athlete of the Year...garnered NGCA Academic All-American honors...named an MWC Scholar-Athlete.

AS A FRESHMAN (2001-02)... finished with a 77.0 stroke average...best finish came at the Dick McGuire Invitational where she placed tied for 19th...shot a season low 73 in the final round of the Lady Gamecock Classic hosted by the University of South Carolina...was one of four Lobos named to the 2002 MWC All-Academic team...season low tournament score of 225 was scored at the Lady Gamecock Classic...over the summer won the District Amateur for Vancouver Island...also won the BC Stroke Play tournament...was named the BC Team Captain...BC team won the Western Canadian Championships...Spence finished 30th out of 96 at the Canadian Amateur...she also set a new course record at Qualicum Beach with a 71.

HIGH SCHOOL... played golf and field hockey at Alberni District...placed 30th at the 1999 Junior World Championships...recipient of the Marlene Streit Award...was a member of the Canadian Team that won the Ruth Eller Cup in Tennessee in 2000...was a three-time district champion (1999-01)...was the Vancouver Island and Dawn Coe Jones Junior Open Champion in `99 and `00...placed second at the British Columbia Amateur Championships in 2000 and placed third in 2001...owns several course records including the Alberni Golf Club (70), Morning Star International (70) and the Storey Creek (71)...was her class valedictorian, carrying a 4.0 grade point average while participating in various extracurricular activities...was her field hockey team's captain...involved in concert, combo and stagebands throughout secondary.
