NEW MEXICO: Top returning post player and one of three starters back for 2010-11...physical player in the paint with the ability to shoot outside...improved rebounding skills and a tough shot...developed into a shot blocker as a junior.
SENIOR (2010-11): Played in 30 games with 24 starts this season...was awarded Mountain West Conference Player of the Week for the first time in her career after scoring a career-high 21 points against New Mexico State on Dec. 30...tied for fourth all-time with 130 career games played...ranked sixth all-time in career blocks with 83 blocked shots...ranked 19th all-time in career rebounds, grabbing 563 rebounds...scored in double figures eight times this season...was second on the team in blocked shots (22), and third on the team in rebounding (142) and steals (42)...grabbed a season-high 11 rebounds against San Diego State on Jan. 15.
JUNIOR (2009-10): Honorable Mention All-Conference honoree...made 30 starts this season and lead the squad with 33 blocks, 57 steals and 187 rebounds...finished the year with two double-doubles including a 18 point and 12 rebound performance at UNLV...fifth on the team in scoring with 6.5 points per game...led the team in rebounding with 5.8 boards per contest...had a career-high six steals against Colorado State...pulled down a career-high 15 rebounds at Air Force...dished out a career-high six assists against TCU...scored in double figures 10 times and had four double digit rebound games.
SOPHOMORE (2008-09): Played in 35 games and made her only start at UNLV...averaged 4.0 points and 3.6 rebounds per contest...second on the team with a 81.4 free throw shooting percentage...had a season-high 13 points against Air Force and reached double figures against Idaho State with 11 points...pulled down a career-high 12 rebounds against William and Mary...played against her sister, Rebecca, during the preseason exhibition schedule...named Academic All-MWC.
FRESHMAN (2007-08): Played in every game and made her first career start on Jan. 19 at Air Force...chipped in a career-high 10 points twice during the year including at No. 12 California...shot 44.1 percent from the field and went 24-of-41 at the free throw line...averaged 5.0 points and 3.3 rebounds per game...recorded her first double-figure rebound game with 10 against TCU, which was also a season-high...scored 10 or more points three times...named Academic All-MWC.
HIGH SCHOOL: North Dakota's Miss Basketball and Gatorade Player of the Year after leading Mandan High School to a 24-1 record and the school's fifth-straight state championship...a four-year starter who came off the bench for the varsity as an eighth grader...playing center, averaged 19.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, 4 steals and 3 assists a game as a senior...scored more than 1,500 points during her high school career...head coach Greg Amundson says Kielpinski is "probably the best player I've ever coached and probably the most highly recruited player in state history."...Mandan was 94-6 in Kielpinski's four years as a starter...also a two-time all-state volleyball player and she tossed the shot in track...McDonald's All-America nominee.
PERSONAL: Born April 14, 1989, in Bismark, N.D...full name is Jessica Marie Kielpinski...father, Mark, is 6-8, and mother, Nancy, is a physical education teacher...older sister, Rebecca, was a two-time Division II All-America basketball player at Alaska-Anchorage...favorite food is pasta...also has a brother, Bryan...majoring in Exercise Science.
