Former Lobo Jordan Adams enters her third season at New Mexico after returning to her alma mater on June 24, 2008 as the director of women's basketball operations. She is the second former Lobo to hold this postion at UNM and brings a wealth of experience. Adams' duties include team travel, film breakdown, film exchange, team community service and correspondence.

Adams replaced Mandi Stovall who departed the program following the 2007-08 season. Adams is one of the top all-time players at New Mexico and currently ranks third in scoring with 1,798 career points. She ranks first in career blocks with 344 and still holds the NCAA tournament school record with eight blocks against Miami (Fla.) in 2003. Adams finished her career fifth on the all-time rebounds list and was a four-time All-Mountain West Conference selection. She earned WNIT All-Tournament honors in 2001 and was named to the NCAA All-Midwest Region Tournament Team in her senior season. Adams also earned MVP honors for the 2003 MWC Tournament and was the last Lobo drafted by the WNBA.

Adams, a native of Las Vegas, Nev., comes to UNM after having worked in her hometown for the Clark County School District since 2005. Her basketball experience includes an outstanding career at UNM, professional experience from 2003-05 and she was a member of the Canadian National Basketball Team in 2006-07.
