JUNIOR: Played in 49 games with 37 starts as a pitcher...was recognized as Mountain West Pitcher of the Week three times...led the conference in batters struck out looking (68), appearances (47), innings pitched (215.2) and games started (37)...placed second in the conference in batters struck out (195) and intentional walks (5)...overall, placed in the top ten in the conference in 17 of the 25 pitching category records kept...caught 12 of 31 runners stealing...maintained a 2.24 ERA and finished with a 14-16 record and earned one save...made her way into the UNM record books setting a new season record for appearances while placing in the top 10 of four other season pitching records as well as all career pitching records.

SOPHOMORE: Pitched 119 inings for UNM...made 32 appearances with 16 starts...walked 25 and struck out 51 batters...combined for one shutout and had one save...won five games.

FRESHMAN: Led the team and the Mountain West Conference with her 1.09 ERA...pitched 179.1 innings, allowing only 28 earned runs...walked only 20 batters...teams were only able to bat .223 against her...earned all-region honors and was named the MWC pitcher of the week twice...made 36 appearances with 22 starts...recorded seven shutouts and had 15 complete games...against Louisville she went seven innings, allowing only one earned run...against conference rival, San Diego State she pitched 8.2 innings allowing three hits and one earned run then again against SDSU in a nine-inning affair she went the complete game allowing only one run which was unearned...was chosen to the MWC all-tournament team.

HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letterwinner at Farmington High School under coach Gary Graham...was All-Conference her junior and senior years...team won the district title her sophomore through senior years and won the state title her sophomore and senior years...was an all-academic selection her sophomore, junior and senior years.

PERSONAL: Amy Nicole Dumas was born in Farmington, N.M. on Dec. 12, 1981...is majoring in elementary educationand wants to be a teacher...enjoys playing the piano and is most inspired by her mother.
