SOPHOMORE: An All-Conference first team member and conference Player of the Week...started in 58 games for the Lobos...a leader on the field with tremendous range at second base...the most productive offensive player for the Lobos leading the team with a .321 average and a total of 60 hits...had a .449 slugging percentage with 11 doubles, two triples, and three homeruns.

FRESHMAN: Played in 44 games getting 38 starts... had 17 hits, 12 RBI and 5 runs scored in 93 at bats...hit one homerun and had eight sacrifice bunts...drew three walks...had 83 putouts and 66 assists in the field...was a perfect 2-2 with 1 RBI and her only triple of the season against San Diego State on May 4.

HIGH SCHOOL: A letterwinner in sofball at Farmington High School under coach Gary Graham...team was state champions three out of her four years...was named all-state in 2000 and 2002...chosen MVP of the state championship game in 2000...was all-district three years in a row...also lettered in volleyball and basketball...earned All-Academic honors in 2000, 2001, and 2002.

PERSONAL: Born Stephanie Kennedy in Farmington, N.M. on Aug. 10, 1984...has three siblings, Courtney, Kameron and Devyn....her favorite athlete is Michael Jordan...planning to major in chemistry...says her greatest softball memory is winning the state tournament three years in a row and going to nationals with her summer league softball team.
