Albuquerque, N.M. --- The New Mexico Lobos will look to end non-conference play with a bang as the squad will take on UC Santa Barbara and UC Davis this weekend as a part of the Jack In The Box Classic at the UNM Soccer Complex.

The fourth team in the tournament is No. 19 Texas Tech, who the Lobos opened with at the beginning of the season.

The Lobos are 2-6-0 on the season and will host UC Santa Barbara on Friday at 5 p.m. The Gauchos are 5-2-1 on the season and owners of four straight shutouts. The first game will pit nationally ranked No. 19 Texas Tech (7-1-0) against UC Davis (2-4-1), which will be played at Robertson Field due to the weather conditions in Albuquerque over the week. That game will be at 2 p.m.

Texas Tech and New Mexico played at the UNM Soccer Complex to open the season, with the Red Raiders winning 1-0. The Friday games are part of a triple header as the UNM men’s team hosts Drake after the conclusion on the UNM women’s game, most likely at 7:15 p.m.

On Sunday morning, Texas Tech will take on UC Santa Barbara (again at Robertson Field), while the Lobos will host UC Davis in the final non-conference match of the season.
