ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The Pacific-12 Conference Network has decided to pick-up the broadcast of the University of New Mexico’s men’s soccer Elite Eight match at the University of Washington on its cable network. The Lobos will face the Huskies at 6 p.m. (MST) on Saturday, December 7 in Seattle, Washington. The PAC-12 Network, available on Comcast and DISH Network in Albuquerque, is the conference’s national cable network.
For those in Albuquerque, the PAC-12 Network is available on Comcast on channel 284 and on Dish Network on channels 413 or 406. To see if you get the network from you cable provider, check the Pac-12 Network channel finder.
There are a handful of establishments in Albuquerque who will be welcoming fans who want to watch and cheer on the Lobos. Fox and Hound Bar & Grill (Jefferson & I-25), Kelly’s Brew Pub (Central in Nob Hill), Nob Hill Bar & Grill (Central in Nob Hill) and Which-Wich (Louisiana & Paseo) will all show the New Mexico match and welcome Lobo fans on a first come, first serve basis.
Head Coach Jeremy Fishbein and the Lobos’ match on Saturday is the program’s second-ever Elite Eight match. New Mexico advanced all the way to the championship match of the 2005 NCAA Tournament. UNM is one of only three programs in the nation to advance to three-straight Sweet 16’s of the NCAA Tournament.
