In-Game Notes

*The Lobos trailed 37-30 at the half. UNM was 7-0 when leading at the break, and they are now 1-3 when trailing at the half.

*A game after seeing its 737-game streak of games with a made three-pointer come to an end, UNM went 9-for-24.  The nine three-pointers tied for the most in a game this season (9-for-18 against Charleston Southern).

*Lobos outrebounded MU 37-30, and outscored Marquette 15-7 on second chance points.

*This was the first meeting between the two schools.

Head Coach Craig Neal

*Craig Neal is now 8-3 as a head coach with New Mexico, and he is 3-1 in neutral games.

Freshman G Cullen Neal

*Cullen Neal had a career-high 24 points and a career-high six threes.  He had 19 points in his last five games combined.

*Neal is the first Lobo with six or more threes since Tony Snell hit seven against Air Force on March 9, 2013

 Senior F Cameron Bairstow

*Bairstow had his fifth straight 20-point games to his credit and had a career high of five assists.  He has eight 20-point games on the season.

 Senior G Kendall Williams

 *Kendall Williams scored in double-figures for the 11th time this season.  

 *Scored 14 points and moved into a tie for 11th in school history with 1,477 points, tying Phil Smith.  He also surpassed Kelvin Scarborough during the game.  He needs 60 points to catch Mel Daniels and move into 10th place on the all-time scoring list.

 Junior G Deshawn Delaney

*Deshawn Delaney had a career-high of 10 points and 10 rebounds.
