ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The University of New Mexico men’s soccer program has cancelled their first spring exhibition versus Phoenix F.C. that was scheduled for Saturday, March 15 after the semi-professional club ceased their day-to-day operations earlier this week.
The program is actively looking to reschedule Saturday’s spring match, which was slated to be played in Casa Grande, Ariz.
New Mexico has four other spring exhibitions scheduled including a home match on April 12 at 10:30 a.m. versus Air Force at the Robertson Practice Fields. The schedule also includes a pair of exhibitions in Taos, N.M. against Denver University on April 5 at 11:00 a.m. and Fort Lewis College on April 19 at 1:00 p.m. The Lobos will wrap up the spring with versus F.C. Tucson of the Professional Developmental League (PDL) in Tucson, Ariz. on May 3. All match dates for spring exhibitions are on Saturdays.
