Streaks and Trends

 *New Mexico lost to New Mexico State 67-61 in The Pit. It ended a four-game winning streak for the Lobos in the series, and it was NMSU's second win in Albuquerque in the last three years.

*It's the first back-to-back losses for UNM since February 21 and 25, 2012 when UNM lost at Colorado State and at TCU.

*The Lobos were 0-7 in three point attempts. This is the first time in 737 games that New Mexico did not make a three-point shot. The last without a make was when UNM went 0-for-8 on January 3, 1991 against Colorado State

*UNM’s six assists was a season-low. The previous lows were in the last two games, 10 against Cincinnati and eight against Kansas.

*UNM out-rebounded NMSU 36-35.

In-Game Notes

* The Lobos trailed 39-26 at the half. UNM was 7-0 when leading at the break, and they are now 0-3 when trailing at the half.

Head Coach Craig Neal

* Craig Neal is now 7-3 as a head coach with New Mexico, and he is 4-1 at home.

Senior F Cameron Bairstow

*Bairstow scored 25 points. He has four straight 20-point games to his credit and he is averaging 21.0 points per game over the last six games


Senior G Kendall Williams

 *For Kendall, he is now 13th with 1,463 points, passing Dairese Gary.

*Williams has scored in double-figures in all 10games this season.
