LOBO CAREER NOTES - Made 91 appearances in circle, including 50 starts and 313 2/3 innings pitched...overall, played in 103 games and made 67 starts....in circle, won 19 games, threw 17 complete games and three shutouts while recording one save...offensively, recorded 12 hits in 62 at-bats, scored eight runs, and drove in nine...earned the Lobos' Spirit Award back-to-back years (2012 and 2013)...appreciated by her teammates and coaches for her hard work, versatility, energy, enthusiasm and team spirit...family studies major.
SENIOR YEAR (2013) - Played in 22 games and made 21 starts, four starts in circle and 19 starts at DP...recorded 10 hits in 54 at-bats, scored six runs and drove in nine...had a triple and two home runs...stole one base...was 2-2 in the circle in 10 appearances...threw one complete game...had perhaps the best month of her career April 2013 as she moved into the starting DP role for the Lobos... hit .231 on the month, going 6-for-26 with six runs scored and a team-best nine RBIs...had the first two home runs and the first triple of her career...also spent 3 2/3 innings in the circle in April and led the Lobo pitching staff with an ERA of 3.82...earned the Lobo Spirit Award (voted on by the team).
JUNIOR YEAR (2012) - Made her first start of the season on Feb. 26 against Cal Poly in the final day of the Cathedral City Classic (missed the first month of the season as she was recovering from surgery on her throwing arm)...started 11 games and appeared in 21...posted a 6-10 record (5.69 ERA) and picked up one save...went 3-0 in four appearances at the SpringHill Suites Invitational March 23-25, picking up wins against Weber State, Seattle and University of Texas-San Antonio, including a shutout against UTSA in the final day of the tournament...earned the Lobo Spirit Award (voted on by the team) for 2012.
SOPHOMORE YEAR (2011)-Started 21 games in 28 appearances in the circle for the Lobos...pitched 129.9 innings with 53 strike outs, nine wins and an ERA of 5.45...had one hit in seven at-bats.
FRESHMAN YEAR (2010)-Started 14 games out of 32 appearances in the circle for the Lobos as a true freshman...pitched in 73.1 innings with 27 strikeouts... recorded one shutout in two wins in her first collegiate season as a pitcher...also had one hit in five at-bats.
HIGH SCHOOL-Played high school softball under Joe Wedel at Rancho Alamitos High School in Garden Grove, Calif. ...earned a varsity letter all four years...first team all-conference (4 years)...rookie of the year as a freshman...team MVP during sophomore, junior, and senior seasons...league MVP junior and senior year...Female Athlete of the Year as a senior...team was league champs all four years...made the Honor Roll during her freshman, sophomore, and senior seasons.
