ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - It's probably safe to say that when Byron Bell played tackle at the University of New Mexico from 2008-10, he didn't have a game nearly as bad as the game he had against the Buffalo Bills while playing for the Carolina Panthers earlier this season.

The third-year pro was beaten repeatedly by Bills defensive lineman Mario Williams for seven total pressures in a one-point loss on September 15. Williams finished with 4.5 sacks, which was a record for a Panthers opponent.

The following week before a game against the New York Giants he was greeted with some heckling by a long-time season-ticker holder for the Panthers. Taking the grief in stride, Bell proceded to have a monster game as the Panthers won easily, 38-0.

Following the game he decided to go meet the fan, so he walked over to the fan's section, thanked him for the extra motivation and gave him his game-worn cleats.
