Albuquerque, N.M. --- After a weekend split that saw New Mexico play possibly its most complete game of the season, the Lobos now head on the road for the Saint Mary's Classic, taking on Saint Mary's and Pacific, a pair of teams from the always tough West Coast Conference.
New Mexico is coming off a 3-0 victory over Rice, and then a 1-0 loss to undefeated Michigan State that saw UNM control the run of play, get very creative on offense and limit the Spartans on defense. It also saw a shot sailing well wide ricochet off a defender's leg and into an open net to the amazement of everyone on the pitch.
The games with Saint Mary's and Pacific will be broadcast by Saint Mary's (pay per view), and live stats will be available both at SMCGaels.com, and right here at GoLobos.com as well.
Dylann O’Connor continues to lead the team with two goals and an assist, and Savannah Viola, Brianna Webster, and Tera Trujillo each have a goal. Cassie Ulrich has played every minute in net, recording a 0.82 goal against average.
