ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The NCAA has named the UNM North Golf Course and the University of the New Mexico as the site and host, respectively, of the 2014 and 2015 NCAA Mountain Region Cross Country Championships.
The championships, which will be held Nov. 14, 2014 and Nov. 13, 2015, bring NCAA cross-country action back to Albuquerque for the first time since 2009.
The UNM North Golf Course last hosted the NCAA Mountain Region Championships in 2009. It was also the site of the 2006 and 2002 NCAA Mountain regionals and has hosted the Mountain West Championships twice, in 2003 and 2007.
