Opened in the long jump at the Texas Tech Open, placing ninth with a leap of 23 ½ (7.02 meters) … Leaped in the triple jump at the next three meets, with a third-place mark of 50-1 ¼ (15.27) at the Beach Invitational, second-place mark of 48-4 ½ (14.77) at the Brutus Hamilton Challenge and another second-place mark of 51-2 ¼ (15.60) at the Don Kirby Tailwind Open … Won the triple jump at the Mountain West Championships, leaping 51-11 (15.82) … Advanced to the NCAA West Preliminary round, placing 19th with a mark of 50-3 ½ (15.33).
