2011-12: Junior Season

Evan Corona-Saunders posted an overall singles record of 2-1 and an overall doubles record of 3-1.

2010-2011: Sophomore Season

Corona-Saunders played one match in the spring season in singles at the number five position. He was awarded the Arthur Ashe Collegiate Scholar award.

2009-2010: Freshman Season

He redshirted his freshman season.

Prior to UNM

He is a 2009 graduate of Texas Tech High School in Houston, Texas. He was ranked 228th nationally in U.S. Juniors.


He is the son of Nathan Saunders and Christina Corona and has one younger sister Alegria. He will major in Pharmacy. His hobbies are listening to music and hanging out with friends. His favorite athlete is Roger Federer.
