JUNIOR (2013):Began the season as UNM's closer but moved into the starting rotation near the end of the regular season ... finished with an 11-1 record, seven saves and a 3.66 ERA in 29 appearances totaling 78.2 innings ... became only the fifth Lobo pitcher to record double-digit wins in a season ... his 11 wins are the second most a Lobo has ever had in a single season, his 29 appearances tied for fourth most, and his seven saves tied for third most ... in his first start of the season May 10 at Fresno St., threw a three-hit shutout and was named Mountain West Pitcher of the Week for his performance ... earned a rare five-inning save in the second game of a doubleheader against UC Riverside on March 9 when he did not allow a run and struck out a season-high nine ... earned wins in eight straight appearances from April 21 to May 23 ... allowed just one earned run in 7.1 innings vs. Arizona St. in the NCAA Fullerton regional ... lefties hit just .204 against him ... allowed one earned run or fewer in 20 of his 29 appearances.
