Parking Lot Egress
The following is being run in the Sports Speak Up section of the Albuquerque Journal tomorrow regarding the parking lot egress after the UNLV game last Wednesday.
UNM Athletics acknowledges that egress from The Pit after Wednesday night's Lobo basketball game vs. UNLV took longer than normal due to an unrelated auto accident at I-25 and Avenida César Chávez.  The accident occurred just before the end of the game and the normal egress plan was halted to reduce congestion at that intersection and to allow emergency personnel to respond. We apologize for the inconvenience. UNM Athletics and APD takes great pride in getting fans out of The Pit parking areas as safely and quickly as possible. We're anticipating Tuesday night's ingress and egress plan to run as normal.   --- Mike Haggerty, Asst. A.D./Events
