It's Monday night, and it's time for Lobo Talk! Live from the Chama River Brewing Company from 7-9 p.m. tonight, come our and take advantage of great food specials at Chama River and enjoy two hours of Lobo basketball.

From 7-8 p.m. women's basketball play-by-play announcer Joe Behrend will talk women's hoops with head coach Yvonne Sanchez.  Then from 8-9 p.m., Voice of the Lobos Robert Portnoy will sit down and talk about the Lobo men's team with the coaching staff as Robert will interview Lamont Smith, Craig Snow and Drew Adams.

Cameron Bairstow Wins Mountain West Player of the Week

New Mexico senior forward Cameron Bairstow has been named Mountain West Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for games played through Sunday, Feb. 2. It is the second career MW weekly accolade for Bairstow.
 
·Averaged 18.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game while guiding New Mexico to wins over Utah State and San José State last week. 
·Scored a game-high 22 points in a 78-65 road victory at Utah State on Jan. 28. Added six rebounds, a career-high four blocks, one assist and one steal.
·Shot 53.8 percent (7-of-13) from the field and 88.9 percent (8-of-9) from the free throw line against the Aggies. 
·Tallied a team-best 14 points with seven rebounds and one steal in a 72-47 win over San José State on Saturday, shooting 6-of-11 (.545) from the field.

Wednesday Ticket Update

Saturday's match-up with Wyoming still has seats available as of Monday.  According to the UNM ticket office at the close of business on Monday, there were 312 lower level seats remaining and 96 club seats left.

Lobos vs. Wyoming on ESPNU

The men's team will take on Wyoming at 9:05 p.m. on ESPNU next Wednesday night.  ESPNU chose the Lobo game over UNLV at Colorado State.  The channels for ESPNU are DISH 141, Direct 208 and Comcast 281.  Steve Quis will handle the play-by-play while former Gonzaga star Dan Dickau will handle analysis.

Wyoming Head Coach Larry Shyatt Won't Make the Trip

Larry Shyatt will miss his third game of the season with a viral issue, meaning assistant coach Scott Duncan, who has the scout for the game on Wednesday, will serve as the head coach for the game on Wednesday.  Shyatt previously missed Wyoming's game at Air Force and the last outing against Utah State, both Cowboy wins.

Court Vision

Hugh Greenwood, who suffered a nasty black-eye against San Jose State, is ranked second in the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio at 4.0-to-1,behind only James Robinson of Pitt.
