New Mexico Head Coach Steve Alford

"The guys came out and made some good adjustments. I thought our pace picked up and got them in transition, which favors us. It got our athleticism going and we made some threes. We made some shots, and when we make shots we go from being maybe a good team to a really good team. And tonight we made some shots."

"We've had some success against the matchup (with Air Force). We've been able to come up here for three years, play well and get in the 70s. I think that playing against this style and getting into the 70s, you're putting yourself in a situation where you can win the game. I thought that our defensive patience against the Princeton offense was really good. We held them (Air Force) to 3-of-24 shooting from behind the arc and I am just very pleased. Any time you can get a road win and win by 20-some points..."

"You win a 23-point effort on the road when your two leading scorers get four and three, so that speaks volumes for what the other guys did. Nate (Garth) got us off the bench and Will (Brown) gave us really good minutes off the bench. Curtis (Dennis) had positive minutes and you look at Phillip (McDonald) having a big game and Dairese (Gary) did some solid things, so I thought that we got a lot of good play out of everyone."
