JUNIOR (2010-11): Missed the 2010-11 season with a knee injury suffered during the preseason.

SOPHOMORE (2009-10): Played in 26 games...averaged 2.3 points and 1.0 rebounds per game...hit 7-of-9 free throws and finished with eight assists...scored a career-high 11 points in the season finale at Oregon in the WNIT...set a career-high for minutes played at Air Force on Feb. 20, when she logged 27 minutes.

FRESHMAN (2008-09): Played in 32 games and averaged 8.6 minutes per contest...averaged 2.0 points and 0.5 rebounds in her first season...primarily used as a backup to Amy Beggin but ran the point towards the end of the year...hit 76.9 percent of her free throws and drained 12 three-pointers...scored in double figures twice chipping in 10 points against Alcorn State and New Mexico State...named a Mountain West Scholar Athlete and earned Academic All-MW honors.

HIGH SCHOOL: Tremendous ball handler who averaged 17 points and set school records with 10 steals in a game and 138 during the 26-game season...the Cougars were 12-7 her senior year...Most Valuable Player of her district...McDonald's All-America nominee...all-state selection...four-time all-league honoree...member of the National Honor Society.

PERSONAL: Born Dec. 26, 1988, in Spokane, Wash...full name is Nikki Breann Nelson...daughter of Gary and Paula Nelson...one brother, Ryley...greatest thrill playing basketball was performing during halftime of a Seattle Supersonics basketball game and being asked to appear on the "Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and once faced Shaquille O'Neal in a one-on-one dual... began practicing dribbling routines in third grade and started performing in middle school...favorite food is Chinese...favorite athlete is Steve Nash...hobbies included spending time with God, friends and family...majoring in Biology with a Chemistry minor.
