Lobo Season-Ticket Information
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The 2013 college football season opener between the University of New Mexico and UTSA on Branch Field at University Stadium will be broadcast locally on KASY, My50TV.
The game, the first-ever meeting between the schools, is set for Aug. 31 at 6 p.m. The game is a matchup of teams with former BCS coaches matching wits. UTSA coach Larry Coker won a national championship with the University of Miami in 2001, and UNM coach Bob Davie led Notre Dame to its first BCS bowl game in the 2001 Fiesta Bowl.
Jay Howard, former longtime radio announcer for the San Antonio Spurs, will handle play-by-play duties. David Williams, former longtime New Mexico high school football coach and current Albuquerque Public Schools color analyst, will provide analysis for the broadcast, which was set in motion by Lobo Sports Properties.
