Natalie Williams was named Student Success Manager for New Mexico Men’s and Women’s Basketball during the 2012-13 academic year. She oversees the academic support services for both programs, which include developing class schedules, assisting with major selection and coordinating tutoring services among other tasks.
Williams came to the University of New Mexico after spending three years as an Academic Advisor and Compliance Assistant at Southeast Missouri State University. At SEMO, she coordinated academic services for the Redhawk men’s basketball, women’s soccer, volleyball and softball teams.
She began her career in college athletics as a Public Relations Assistant for the Southern Conference in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Williams was the primary conference media contact for a handful of the conference’s sports while also assisting with media operations and game management.
Williams earned a B.A. in English and Journalism from Ole Miss in 2005. She also holds a master’s degree in Higher Education from Southeast Missouri State. Originally from Ironton, Missouri, Williams resides in Albuquerque.
