
Armond H. Seidler Natatorium
The University of New Mexico swimming and diving team practices
and competes year-round at the Olympic Pool in the Seidler
Natatorium, located in Johnson Gymnasium. The facility is an
Olympic-sized pool and includes a 25-meter pool, which serves as
an auxiliary training tank for the team.
The Olympic pool is named after former UNM professor Armond
Seidler, who designed the pool.
Directions
The Seidler Natatorium is located inside the Johnson Center on the southern
end of UNMıs main campus, just off Central Avenue. Exit off I-25, just
south of the Big-I, at Central Avenue and head east. Take a left on
Stanford and Johnson Center is located directly in front of you. There are
two parking lots, one in front of the UNM Bookstore and one to the
southeast of Johnson Center. There is a charge for parking for weekday
events at Johnson Center.
