UNIVERSITY STADIUM GUIDELINES
Gates at University Stadium open 1 1/2 hours prior to the scheduled game time. Tailgate lots open 6 hours prior to the start time of games. For security reasons, once you exit the stadium you may not re-enter. In order to ensure adequate seating, everyone must have a ticket for admission into University Stadium. Please arrive early!
Fans are encouraged to bring ONLY necessary items to football games at University Stadium. For the safety and enjoyment of all fans, we request that you assist us by leaving prohibited items at home or in your vehicle. We regret that we are unable to provide storage for any of these items.
ALL ATHLETIC VENUES LIST OF PROHIBITED ITEMS
The following items will not be allowed into any UNM Athletic Department Venue:
food, water or beverages of any kind
cans
bottles
alcohol
baby seats
balloons
beach balls
coolers
explosives
fireworks
folding chairs
illegal drugs
laser pointers
artificial noisemaker such as horns, drums, bells, whistles, etc. per Mountain West Conference rules
pets (except service animals assisting those with disabilities)
weapons of any kind
any other item that in the judgment of game management staff poses a safety hazard or detracts from the ability of others to enjoy the event. Prohibited items must be returned to the owner's vehicle or discarded. Any unlawful items are subject to confiscation, and the person in possession of such items is subject to ejection from the stadium and /or arrest.
SEASON OR SINGLE GAME TICKETS
Season tickets are available through Sept. 18 at the Lobo Ticket Office at 1155 University, located at the northwest corner of University and Cesar Chavez, and online at www.unmtickets.com. Ticket office hours are 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Individual game tickets are available:

WILL CALL
Located at the northeast corner of the stadium at Gate 7 for the general public, player guests, high school coaches and visiting teams.

STUDENT TICKETS
Tickets are free for all UNM students enrolled in at least 6 hours. UNM students will be able to pick up student tickets prior to the game and also be able to enter at any gate.
LOBO CLUB
The Lobo Club is the scholarship fundraising arm of UNM Athletics. Contributors to the Lobo Club qualify for benefits such as priority seating and parking, invitations to special events and postseason ticket priority while providing educational opportunities for young men and women and building the foundation for Excellence in UNM Athletics through tax deductible gifts. STANDARD POLICIES
BAG POLICY
Bags of reasonable size (as determined by event staff) will be allowed into the stadium, but all bags will be searched.
BANNERS/SIGNS
Banners and signs are allowed inside University Stadium provided they are of reasonable size (as determined by event staff) and contain no advertising, offensive material or language. Signs cannot obstruct the view of other patrons during the game or they will be confiscated.
CAMERAS
Still frame cameras are permitted inside the stadium.
CHAIRBACK SEATS
Chair back seats are for sale on the concourse at a cost of $5 per game. All proceeds go to the UNM baseball program and UNM spirit program. Chair back seats larger than 11" x 18" are not permitted into University Stadium. Fans wishing to bring a chair back seat will be required to have the seat checked at the entrance.
ELEVATORS
There are two elevators on the west side of University Stadium near gate 3.
FIELD ADMITTANCE
Only team personnel, media and credentialed event management staff are authorized to be on the field before, during or after the game. Anyone going onto the field without proper authorization is subject to expulsion from the stadium and could face prosecution. This also applies to anyone throwing objects onto the field or in the stands.
POLICE / EMT COMMAND POST
The Command Post is located on the concourse level at the north end of the stadium near gate 5. First aid, lost and found and lost children are located here. The phone number is 925-5506.
FIRST AID
Emergency assistance is available at the Command Post located on the concourse level at the north end of the stadium or by dialing 925-5506. Contact any usher or ticket taker wearing an Event Staff shirt, and they will be able to assist and get EMTs to respond.
LOST CHILDREN
Parents and/or guardians with a lost child should contact the nearest law enforcement officer or event staff member. Lost children will be taken to the Command Post at the north end of the stadium near Gate 5.
LOST AND FOUND
Lost and Found is at the Command Post located on the concourse level at the north end of the stadium near gate 5 during games and can be contacted by dialing 925-5506. During the week call the UNM Police at 277-2241.
FOOD & BEVERAGE
No outside food or drinks - including bottled water - may be brought into the stadium. Fans will be asked to finish, dispose of, or return items to their vehicle. Exceptions will be made for the needs of babies/small children/elderly and fans with medical conditions.
RE-ENTRY
Re-entry is not permitted at University Stadium. If you need to re-enter, please go to the Customer Service Tent located near the Command Post near Gate 5. The Customer Service representative will make the decision if you're able to re-enter. Emergencies will be the only purpose.
SMOKING
Smoking is allowed only in designated areas inside the stadium. Smoking areas are located on the southwest (near Gate 1) and southeast corners (near Gate 9) of University Stadium.
STROLLERS
Strollers are permitted but must be collapsible and fit under your seat.
WHEELCHAIR SEATING
There are nearly 200 wheelchair spaces in University Stadium. They are located on the upper west concourse level, the east mid-concourse level and at the north end. Wheelchair spaces on the west side of the stadium can be reached by the elevator on the west side of the press box. Spaces on the north side are on ground level. Tickets are available by contacting the ticket office at 925-5626.
UNIVERSITY STADIUM PARKING LOT & TAILGATING POLICIES
Tailgate lots open 6 hours prior to kickoff on all gamedays.
All rules and regulations are subject to change. UNM Police and officials reserve the right to enforce these policies at their discretion.
The UNM Athletics Department attempts to accentuate the pageantry of college football by providing a wholesome atmosphere for fans of all ages. We appreciate your cooperation and adherence to these policies. Please contact the UNM Athletics Department at 925-5014 for additional information and approvals.
Vehicles must park consistent with lane markings; there will be no saving of parking spots. Parking costs $5 in all lots, except for pass lots, where a donation is needed to secure a pass.
ABQ RIDE LOBO EXPRESS
The shuttle bus from Lot T (located at the southwest corner of University and Lomas) runs 2 hours before kick off and drops off at the Jemez lot. Costs $3 per person (round trip) and tickets are available the day of the game at the Lot T, (cash only accepted). The return shuttle runs for a reasonable amount of time after the completion of the game.
GAMEMEDAY
All lots will either be a pass lot or will cost $5 per car and/or space, or 4 or more passengers per vehicle is free, excluding RV's. All Lots open 6 hours before kickoff, although some adjustments may be made depending on kickoff time. There are more than 4,000 parking spaces surrounding University Stadium, including 108 handicapped spaces. Mobility-impaired parking spaces are located on the west side of the stadium. Additional spots are located on the west side of The Pit where a golf cart shuttle will pick up and drop off at Gate 2.
HANDICAPED PARKING
Handicapped parking is located in many lots around the stadium. Overflow spots are located on the West side of the Pit where a golf cart shuttle will pick up and drop off at Gate 2.
PARKING COST $5
This year parking will cost $5 per vehicle, except for cars with 4 or more fans inside, (this excludes RV's). RV parking is $25.
ROCKY MOUNTAINN RV OVERNIGHT LOT
Located in the Vista Lot, just North of the Pit.
Adjacent to the First Community Bank Lobo Fan Fest.
The lot opens at 5 p.m. the day before each of UNM's six home games.
All RVs must be self-contained and they can tow one extra vehicle.
A pass is required for the overnight lot.
The pass includes access to overnight parking, security, bathroom facilities, close proximity to Lobo Fan Fest and one game program.
Call (505) 925-5014 about purchasing a pass for the lot.
Space permitting, RVs may still park day of the game for $25 when the parking lots open 6 hours before kickoff.
RV PARKING
RV parking is $25 and is available in any open lot except for the Tailgate 2 Lot. Open lots are Vista, Pueblo and Mesa.
FIRST COMMUNITY BANK LOBO FOOTBALL FAN FEST
Located in the Vista Lot, northeast of the Pit.
Free admission for all fans.
Adjacent to the Rocky Mountain RV Overnight Lot.
Food vendors include Pizza Hut, Hooters, Peppers Ole Fashion Barbeque and Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream.
Hoot's Ultimate Party Zone is providing slides, rides, jumpers and a 50-foot high climbing wall for kids of all ages.
MCS Satellite and DirecTV will have a FREE viewing tent for fans to watch other college football games from across the country.
Live music presented by Route 66 Casino Hotel.
Live pregame radio broadcast on News Radio 770 KKOB and the Lobo Radio Network.
BARBEQUE SAFETY FOR GAS GRILS
Grills must not be used inside tents, under building overhangs or within 15 feet of buildings.
Grills must not be used within 25 feet of vehicles or other gas-fueled equipment.
Grills must not be used near open windows, doors or building air intakes.
Grills must be set on level ground and protected against being hit or knocked over.
Check all gas lines from the bottle to the burner.
Make sure they are tight, leak free and not cut or damaged.
A leak check of valves and lines can be made by spraying soapy water around the connections. If the soap bubbles, you may have a leak. CHANGE THE BOTTLE, LINES AND/OR CONNECTORS AS NEEDED.
Turn the gas on only when ready to heat the grill.
Keep young children away from the grill.
DO NOT leave the grill unattended at any time.
Shut off all valves from the grill to the LP tank before leaving the event. Secure the LP tank from damage or vandalism.
DO NOT USE THE GRILL IF GAS LEAK OCCURS. If you smell natural gas prior to or during grilling. TURN OFF THE BURNERS AND BOTTLE.
What to do in case of an emergency:
Always have a working fire extinguisher on hand.
Keep your family and friends a safe distance away from the BBQ while cooking.
Keep a working cell phone nearby.
If an uncontrolled fire occurs:
IMMEDIATELY move everyone away from the grill.
Call UNM CAMPUS POLICE AT 277-2241 to report the fire or find security in the area.
Use the fire extinguisher in short bursts to put out the fire.
If a burn or other injury occurs:
Move the person away from the grill
Call UNM CAMPUS POLICE At 277-2241 on a cell phone
Make the injured person as comfortable as possible.
Be ready to direct medical personnel to your location. It may be hard to find you if you are in the middle of the tailgate area.
ADVERTISING
No advertising vehicles or signs will be allowed unless approved in advance by the UNM Athletics Department. UNM athletics officials and security have the right to remove any signage from the parking lots.
ALCOHOL
Individuals of legal drinking age - 21 or older - who have a ticket to the game that day may consume alcoholic beverages in the parking lots in accordance with University policy. Consumption of alcohol by minors is illegal. In addition, it is illegal to provide alcohol to minors.
No glass bottles are permitted.
No common source alcohol is permitted, including party balls or kegs.
No alcohol, outside food or drink may be brought into the stadium.
DRINKING AND DRIVING
The University of New Mexico Athletics Department reminds all fans to not drink and drive. Please choose a designated driver before you consume any alcoholic beverage.
NOISE
No live bands, public address systems or excessively loud stereo systems are permitted unless contracted through the UNM Athletics Department.
NOVELTY STANDS
No apparel, souvenirs, food or beverage are to be sold in the parking lots unless contracted through the UNM Athletics Department.
TAILGATING HOURS
Fans who are tailgating must be inside the stadium before the end of the first quarter. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited inside the stadium. The parking lots open six hours prior to kickoff.
UNM STUDENT SHUTLE
Provided by the Athletics Department and UNM Parking and Transportation Services, a courtesy shuttle will be provided to UNM students.
The shuttle begins 2 hours prior to kickoff, operates until kickoff, then one hour after the game is over
LOBO COURTESY SHUTLE
UNM will have four (4) golf carts roaming the stadium parking lots starting two hours before kickoff. The carts will serve as courtesy shuttles for fans that need a lift from their car to the stadium. The carts will be marked Lobo Courtesy Shuttle.
